Sigh. Fraternity relations are more complex than what you think. Yes, it is indeed an open fact in UP that Marcos and Ninoy are frat brothers.

Ninoy as Marcos’ #1 successor is only known by Marcos’ Inner Circle and I think Imelda don’t even know about this. Though in the open, they think Enrile (of the other fraternity) is gaining the upper hand of Marcos.

Ninoy is eyeing the presidency as early as 1973, but why Marcos delayed him?

All I know is that Marcos was the best president we ever had. The Philippine’s never been that nourished and affluent compared with what he did during his time.
